1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. It does not maintain official records, retrieve government files, perform an official background check, or submit documents on a visitor's behalf.

Its purpose is to identify the sources that maintain Loving County criminal records, including the sheriff, the courts with criminal jurisdiction, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. It may also provide access to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you agree not to:

• Use the website in violation of federal, Texas, or local law
• Threaten, harass, or stalk another person with information obtained here
• Rely on site content for lending, employment, housing, or insurance decisions
• Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account
• Deploy a bot, scraper, or other automated collection method against these pages
• Disrupt performance or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information from Loving County Criminal History or a linked service to stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also violate the law. This restriction is especially important for Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 governs the public registry and restricts misuse. Registry information supports public safety awareness. 4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Loving County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produces no credit report, consumer report, or background-check product. Neither the website nor its advertising partners supply a service designed to review job or rental applicants, set insurance rates, or evaluate credit. You must not use site or linked-tool data to:

• Make an employment or termination decision
• Evaluate a prospective tenant or housing applicant
• Assess creditworthiness or determine an insurance premium
• Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
• Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA

When a lawful purpose requires a qualifying background check, use the proper Texas Department of Public Safety channel or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Website content is general information, not legal advice. Although it describes criminal-record processes in Loving County, it cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, Texas Chapter 55A expunction, or Chapter 411 nondisclosure rule applies to a particular matter. Seek advice from a licensed Texas attorney.

All content and services are supplied "as is." No warranty promises that:

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of Loving County Criminal History must be brought in a court located within the State of Texas. Public access to county agency records remains governed by the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, while Texas criminal-history dissemination and nondisclosure are controlled by Government Code Chapter 411.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be limited or revised only to the degree needed for enforcement.
