Loving County does not publish a separately named sheriff's records division. Start with the sheriff at the Collins Street office and call before visiting. Written Texas Public Information Act requests may be sent to the three addresses listed on the official sheriff request page or mailed to P.O. Box 104. For a court record, contact the combined clerk instead. The clerk can distinguish a 143rd District Court felony file from a county-level misdemeanor and can explain copy or certification options.
